You do need to do some planning, but don't forget to leave some free time open. When we went, we had the whole week planned. Each day as we dashed past the inviting pool at our hotel, the kids kept asking "when can we stay here and go swimming?" Finally we decided to skip a day at a water park. Instead we hung out at the pool, did some shopping, some of the activities the hotel offered, and it was another great day. Good luck!
