You'll forget the sleepless nights

The first few months will be a time when you'll have many nights of no sleep, but you'll get over it and in time your baby will sleep through the night (or even just for 5 hours straight) and you'll feel like a new person.

A clean house isn't all that important

I wish I hadn't stressed so much about keeping the house clean. Kids come with dirt and mess, which I was more relaxed about by the time my second came around. But with my first, I let the messy house and dirty floors get to me as much as the no sleep.
